FOGS Annual General Meeting
The Friends of Greenwich School is very active in its support of the Primary
and Infant Schools. Although the main fund raiser is the Greenwich Fun Run,
we are always looking for members of the Community to get involved and bring
along new ideas. Come to the AGM. For more information please contact Denis

GREENWICH CAROLS will be held on Monday December 15th
Its that time of year again – ALREADY. Greenwich Carols will be held
at the Leemon Reserve (Robert Street Tennis Courts) – Sausage Sizzle/BYO
picnic from 6 pm - carols from 7pm. Collection in aid of Youth Mental Health
Programmes. Donations have been made to the Mona Vale Adolescent Mental Health
Ward for two televisions and PlayStations with controllers and games.. All
items carry plaques acknowledging and thanking Greenwich Carollers. Thanks

8058 with questions. BILLY BLUE PALACE - update
Council is considering the proposal and has appointed an external consultant
to assist with the evaluation. Council has sought Legal Opinion as to the “existing
use rights” claimed by the Developer. Council’s report will not
be presented before the Christmas break
BROWNIES NEED NEW DISTRICT LEADER
The District Leader provides the link between Greenwich Brownies group and
the Guides/Brownies Area Division (covering Middle Harbour, Lane Cove, Chatswood
and Artarmon). Duties include administration, parent liaison and membership
PR. Leadership Training is provided to the successful candidate.

SUNSHINE HOMES site
is being SOLD – Developer applies for SEPP5
Resort with 60+ units.
Apart from Duntroon Avenue (260+) units, the proposed Billy Blue redevelopment
of 62 units, now there is an application for 60+ units to follow on from the
SEPP5 at 72 Greenwich Road with its 24 units. Each will be discussed at the
General Meeting December 10th come along and discuss. Have your say in the
FUTURE of GREENWICH – Council Elections are coming up on March 27th 2004.
ISABELLE HEIM FUND
The Isabelle Heim Fund Annual New Years Day Champagne Brunch (fund raiser)
is at La Renaissance in the Rocks from 11.00 am. Tickets are $30 per person,

GREENWICH VILLAGE GAMES
As another Olympic Year approaches, it’s Greenwich Village Games time
again. Our Games will probably be held late next year – possibly in early
December 2004.
Sally Rossi Ford has booked our Greenwich Hall for a launching meeting on Monday
15 Dec at 8 pm. All keen sportspersons, would-be team captains and the like
are encouraged to attend to help determine the format and timing of another
great event….
NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
Denis Smith will provide an update to the General Meeting based on the District
Neighbourhood Watch briefing at the Chatswood Command Centre.
SANTA'S HELPERS HAVE MOVED
Santa will be coming to Greenwich Wharf as usual this Christmas morning at
8am.
However, his helpers have moved to 11 Mitchell St (entrance in George St).
