GREENWICH PUBLIC SCHOOL, ENROLMENT
Greenwich Public School is planning for its 2005 enrolments. Kindergarten
enrolments form a very important part of the school's planning and
projections. The school has a long waiting list of families who live
just outside our boundaries who want their children to come to Greenwich.
They cannot let them know until they have accommodated the local
children. The School would therefore be grateful if you could submit
your enrolment form to the school if you have a child who you would
like to start at the school in 2005.
They look forward to meeting you at the school and to welcoming you
into the Greenwich School community.
For further information contact (Mrs) Kerry Scott, Principal Greenwich
Public School on 9436 3217.
DEVELOPMENTS NEWS
WATERBROOK APPROVAL
Apparently some Councillors objected to our appraisal of the approval
given by Council for the Waterbrook development in our last newsletter.
We stand by our comments and we are willing to debate the matters publicly
with the disapproving Councillors at any time.
BILLY BLUE and WOOLWORTHS
Both applications are still with the outside assessor with no indication
of when they may come to Council.
Representations continue to Council from nearby residents, the whole
area and the GCA on many highly questionable assumptions, particularly
regarding the Development Application for Billy Blue.
14 GEORGE ST
On 15/11/04 Council refused a new DA to create a third storey; the
application had previously been refused by Council and also withdrawn
by the applicant in previous Section 96 applications.
