Shopping and Parking in Lane Cove – Current Issues

Take a look at our new web page www.greenwich.org.au. This service was started by Laurie Edwards, and is now being expanded by Rob Starling.

How can we best use this facility as an information source for all Greenwich residents ? Rob will give a live presentation on what our Web page now contains, and he’d like to hear your views on what you’d like to have added to it.

We’d like our Web page to provide a Bulletin Board for all local community groups. Do we have your latest details correctly ? What else would you like us to add ? Come along and tell us.

Important decisions are now being made about parking and major developments in our town centre. Some of the issues have generated controversy. What are they ?

Come to our meeting for as summary of issues that may affect you in the future.

Judy Washington’s farewell address last meeting was as interesting and memorable as all her previous addresses.

Thank you again Judy for all the joy you have brought to Lane Cove - particularly to Greenwich residents - and to the fine legacy of local area history you have left us with.

This year saw a record number of 330 runners, walkers and dogs for this very popular annual event! After expenses, the FOGS fun run cleared about $1,600 and the P&C food fair raised about $2,500.

This money will go to the Greenwich School to help with additional school

expenses. Everybody had a great time.

A big thank you to all the helpers on the day, including the police, and a special thank you to Vince and Ross at the Greenwich Cellars for supplying free cans of drinks for all runners and walkers as they have in all past years.

We look forward to seeing everyone at next year's fun run event and again

raising funds for the school.
